Squamous Salutations Scion Supporters,
Once again, we come to the end of the month, and once again I have come to update you on our kickstarter projects. No major announcements or movement in this update, but lots of incremental progress internally in these stages as we inch closer.
REWARDS STILL PENDING
Alt text: Dragon and Mythos are in art direction and artwork is starting to deliver in prep for layout, the Dragon jumpstart is in development, the dragon companion is in post-approval development, and the mythos companion is in editing.
So, a slight tweak to our revised presentation. I've re-labeled the Mythos Companion PDF with it's new name, Scion: Whispers from Darkness. Both of our main books are in art direction, with artwork delivering ahead of beginning layout. Let's look at some now!

Rich has modified the way he's running the Project Tracking this year. At the end of each month, Onyx Path will be posting an update showing the current status of all of their projects and where each sits on the project tracking chart. In the weekly Monday Meeting Notes blogs, Rich will note any projects that have changed status, sometimes with developer notes, since the big monthly summary.
I will continue to post an update each month until those final Stretch Goal rewards have gone out.

CURRENTLY CROWDFUNDING

February 2022 Update

Squamous Salutations Scion Supporters,
The ominous shadows on my wall indicate that it's time for our regular month end status summary. Yeah, I track it by the shadows in my office. That seems to work better for this one - mysterious and spooky!
I'm in the process of trying out a new format for our pending reward tracking - something a bit more visual. Hopefully it gets the idea across without having to dig too deeply into particulars.
REWARDS STILL PENDING
I've sort of shrunk the Scion: Dragon and Scion: Masks of the Mythos down to one line each. In that one line is the PDF (which goes out to backers when the first Proofing is finished), the hardcover (which will ship after Indexing and the final Proofing are completed) and the discounted Print-on-Demand links (which go out anytime after the hardcover is being printed). Not listed here but not forgotten are some of the existing rewards that are complete and just waiting for final book shipments to go out - the Origin and Hero hardcovers. For backers that pledged to a tier that included them, no worries - they'll be included, just not tracked as part of our monthly progress here.
Just streamlining a bit to make it all easier to keep track of, and hopefully we'll being seeing more dots get filled in as the time goes on.

Welcome to the first month end update of 2022! Looking back at our Kickstarter campaign from last year, we're going to spend most of this year watching as our main pledge rewards slowly work their way down the progress track and, eventually, out to us backers. Checking out the Monday Meeting Notes, I see some projects definitely working their way along the progress track. The Scion: Dragon Jumpstart is in Active Development, Scion: Dragon Companion is even further along in Post-Approval Development, and our Scion: Dragon rulebook is in Post-Editing Development. Similarly, our Masks of the Mythos Companion, Whispers from Darkness, is in Editing, and our Masks of the Mythos rulebook is in Post-Editing Development.
I know it'll be a long year, watching these slowly slide forward. But I'll share any related Scion news or updates each month as we review.

We had an awesome start to 2021 with our Scion: Dragon and Masks of the Mythos campaign. The year didn't always live up to that positive beginning, but there were some positive moments within the ongoing struggle. Dragon Development
The Scion: Dragon jumpstart supplement is currently in development. The Scion: Dragon companion is even further along, with the manuscript approved and now working through the post-approval development stage. Our main book on that front, Scion: Dragon, is in post-editing Development as well as Art Direction, getting everything set up for the next major stage, layout.
Masks of the Mythos
Whispers From Darkness (with or without a "the" in there, I guess we'll see when it's done), the companion book, is in editing. Alongside Dragon, our Masks of the Mythos book is in post-editing development and art direction. Hoping we get to see some cool art previews and more in 2022.

ONYX PATH CROWDFUNDING IN 2021
Another challenging year. While there were some moments of taking two steps forward and one step back, at least there was some forward momentum. Onyx Path spent the previous year restructuring and adapting their processes to better function during the pandemic, but still external issues presented (and continue to present) challenges. Paper shortages, manufacturing difficulties, shipping and storage problems. The new normal.
Despite all of that, Onyx Path was able to get some products out, at least digitally, during the year.
While the massive paper shortage and manufacturing issues kept many of these from seeing print in 2021, they're all currently scheduled to attain physical form in early 2022. Here's hoping the process keeps moving forward and we can finally ship these rewards. Even with that caveat, that's still a pretty impressive list of stuff that's out and available to play.
Another solid year and another batch of fun and interesting projects added to Onyx Path's future release list. In supporting these during the crowdfunding phase, we've also managed to add these extra projects to the schedule:
